About the Artist
Jaimie San Juan
From a young age, I have always had an interest towards art. Ever since I was little I always loved drawing and painting, and going to my local museum. When I attended elementary school in Taiwan I participated in many different art competitions, and art class was always a favorite of mine. When Covid hit I spent a lot of time at home practicing my drawing skills, and learning new art skills as well! With no access to art classes, I taught myself how to paint using watercolors and other mediums through trial and error (and a helpful youtube video or two!!) I enjoy sketching and playing around with watercolors the most, however, some of my other hobbies include photography, and videography as well! I'm very interested in exploring many other mediums of art, such as, pottery, oil painting, digital art, animation, and realistic portraits.
In January 2020, I joined the Instagram art community with the handle name @justjaimie.art, where I record my art journey and improvements. You can also find me on youtube, Just Me Jaimie, where I post some of my recent art projects, as well as an animation video now and then!
Now, 2022, post covid, I have a heart to teach other kids out there English or Chinese through art and painting. My heart is also burdened for other children out there that are less fortunate than I, which is why 10% of all proceeds I receive will go to the Tim Tebow Foundation in helping them fight against human trafficking.
